About SSO ID

What is an SSO ID and Why Do You Need One?

The Rajasthan Single Sign-On (SSO) ID is your personal Digital Identity issued by the Rajasthan Government. Instead of creating separate accounts on every government website, you register once and use the same SSO ID and password to access all government services — from scholarship applications and job recruitment to ration card updates and pension records.

Whether you are a student applying for a scholarship, a job seeker registering for RPSC exams, a business owner managing your Udyog registration, or a government employee viewing your SIPF records — all of it is done through this one account.

Important: Do not create multiple SSO IDs. One person should have only one SSO ID. If you already have one but forgot it, use the recovery guide — creating a duplicate will cause data conflicts with your scholarship and service applications.

🏭

Udhyog (Business)

Getting Started

How to Open the Registration Page

All three registration types (Citizen, Udhyog, Govt. Employee) begin from the same starting point on the SSO portal:

01

Open the Official SSO Portal

Go to sso.rajasthan.gov.in/register. Ensure the URL begins with https://.

02

Click the "Registration" Tab

On the homepage, click the Registration tab next to Login on the right side of the screen.

03

Select Your Category

Three categories appear: Citizen, Udyog, Govt. Employee. Click the one that applies to you.

💡 Bookmark sso.rajasthan.gov.in/register to avoid accidentally visiting fake copycat websites.
👤

Part 1 — Citizen Registration

If you are a resident of Rajasthan or a general user, select the Citizen tab. The most recommended method for Rajasthan residents is Jan Aadhaar.

Method A — Via Jan Aadhaar (Recommended for Rajasthan Residents)
1

Select the Jan Aadhaar Icon

On the Citizen registration screen, click the Jan Aadhaar icon.

2

Enter Your Jan Aadhaar ID or Enrollment Number

Type your Jan Aadhaar ID (10-digit number) or Enrollment Number, then click Next.

💡 Your Jan Aadhaar ID is printed on your physical Jan Aadhaar card. Visit your nearest E-Mitra centre if you do not have it.
3

Select the Correct Family Member

A list of all family members linked to your Jan Aadhaar will appear. Click the radio button next to the registering person's name, then click Next.

⚠️ Choose the correct name carefully. Each family member should have their own individual SSO ID.
4

Request and Verify OTP

Click Send OTP. Enter the OTP sent to your Jan Aadhaar registered mobile and click Verify OTP.

💡 If OTP doesn't arrive within 2 minutes, click "Resend OTP." Ensure your number is active and not on DND.
5

Choose Your SSO ID (Username)

Enter a unique SSO ID/Username. The portal checks availability instantly. This username cannot be changed later.

6

Set Password, Mobile Number, and Email

Create a strong password (minimum 8 characters, mix of letters, numbers, and symbols). Enter your mobile number and email address.

7

Click Register — Done!

Click Register. A confirmation message will appear and your SSO ID details will be sent to your registered email. Save your credentials safely.

✅ You can now log in at sso.rajasthan.gov.in using your new SSO ID and password.
Method B — Via Google Account (For All Others Including Outside Rajasthan)

If you do not have a Jan Aadhaar card, register using your Google (Gmail) account.

1

Select the Google Icon

On the Citizen registration screen, click the Google icon.

2

Authenticate with Gmail

A Google sign-in pop-up will appear. Log in with your Gmail address and password. Grant the required permissions.

3

Choose Your SSO ID Username

Once authenticated, choose a unique SSOID/Username. This cannot be changed after registration.

4

Set Password, Mobile, and Email

Set a strong password, confirm it, and enter your active mobile number and email address.

5

Click Next, Then Register

Click Next, review the details, then click Register. Your SSO account is now active.

💡 After registering via Google, link your Jan Aadhaar in Edit Profile to unlock scholarships and recruitment services.
📌 Other Options: Citizens can also register via Aadhaar, Bhamashah, Facebook, or Twitter — select the icon, authenticate, choose username, and complete registration.
🏭

Part 2 — Udhyog (Business) Registration

If you own or manage a registered business, follow these steps. You will need your SAN (Sanchar Aadhaar Number / Institute Aadhaar Number) to complete this registration.

Business Registration — Via SAN
1

Select "Udyog" on the Registration Page

After clicking Registration on the SSO portal, select the Udyog tab.

2

Click the SAN Icon

Click on the SAN (Sanchar Aadhaar Number) icon to proceed with business registration.

3

Enter Your Institute Aadhaar Number (SAN)

Type your SAN and click Next. The portal will fetch your registered business details from the database.

💡 The SAN is assigned during Udyog Aadhaar / MSME registration. If you don't know it, check your business registration certificate or contact your local District Industries Centre (DIC).
4

Fill in Business and Contact Details

Complete the remaining fields including business name, authorised person's mobile number, and email address.

5

Click Register

Review the details and click Register. Your Udhyog SSO ID is now created.

🏛️

Part 3 — Government Employee Registration

State government employees of Rajasthan register using their SIPF (State Insurance and Provident Fund) credentials, which links official service records directly to your SSO ID.

Govt. Employee Registration — Via SIPF
1

Select "Govt. Employee" on the Registration Page

After clicking Registration, select the Govt. Employee tab.

2

Click the SIPF Button

Click on the SIPF button. Every Rajasthan state employee has an SIPF number.

3

Enter Your SIPF Number and Password

Type your SIPF Number and SIPF Password, then click Next.

💡 Your SIPF number is on your salary slip, service book, or can be obtained from your department's accounts section.
4

Review and Complete Remaining Fields

Your name, department, and designation will be auto-filled. Verify these, enter your mobile number and email, and complete remaining fields.

5

Click Register

Click Register to finalise. Your Government Employee SSO ID is now active.

📌 Already have a Citizen SSO ID? Do not create a second account. Use the Merge SSO IDs feature to combine your citizen account with your Government Employee account.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Is an Aadhaar card mandatory for SSO ID registration?
No, but it is highly recommended. You can register using just a Google account, but you will not be able to access most state government services (like scholarships or recruitment) without linking a Jan Aadhaar or Aadhaar card. If you register via Google first, you can link your Jan Aadhaar later in the "Edit Profile" section to unlock full access.
I already have an SSO ID but forgot my username or password. What should I do?
Do not create a new ID — this causes data conflicts. Use the recovery tools on the login page: click "I forgot my Digital Identity (SSOID)" to retrieve your username, or "I forgot my Password" to reset it via OTP. You can also send RJ SSO to 9223166166 via SMS. Full instructions in our recovery guide.
Why am I getting the "Mobile Number Already Exists" error?
This error means your mobile number is already linked to an existing SSO account — either one you created and forgot, or one created by a family member using your number. Use the "Forgot SSOID" option on the login page to find which ID your number is linked to, then recover access to that account instead of creating a new one.
Can I change my SSO ID (username) after registration?
No. Once your SSO ID is created and confirmed, it cannot be changed. You can update your name, mobile number, email, and address in profile settings, but the username (Digital Identity) is permanent.
I am a student from outside Rajasthan. How should I register?
Since you do not have a Jan Aadhaar card (which is only for Rajasthan residents), register using the Google Account option under the Citizen tab. After registration, you can access recruitment portals and results, though Jan Aadhaar-linked services will be limited.
Can I register on behalf of another family member?
Each SSO ID is for one individual only. You can help a family member register using their own identity and mobile number, but the account must belong to them. Do not register under another person's name — it causes issues with scholarship eligibility and recruitment applications.
How long does SSO ID registration take to activate?
SSO ID registration is instant. Once you click Register and receive the confirmation screen, your account is immediately active. You can log in within seconds of completing the registration process.
I registered but did not receive a confirmation email. What should I do?
First, check your spam/junk folder. If it is still not there, try logging in directly with your SSO ID and password at sso.rajasthan.gov.in — if login succeeds, your account was created successfully. You can verify your email from Edit Profile inside the dashboard.
