The Rajasthan Single Sign-On (SSO) ID is a unique Digital Identity issued by the Rajasthan Government to every registered citizen, business, and government employee. Instead of remembering separate usernames and passwords for each government department or scheme, you use one ID and one password to access everything.
Think of your SSO ID as a universal key — created once, used everywhere across the Rajasthan e-governance ecosystem. Whether you are a student applying for a scholarship, a job seeker submitting an RPSC application, or a business owner managing your Udyog registration, everything is accessible through a single login.
The SSO portal supports three types of users. Your login method may vary slightly depending on which category you belong to:
Follow these steps carefully to log in to the official Rajasthan SSO portal. The process takes under two minutes once you have your credentials ready.
Go to sso.rajasthan.gov.in in your browser. Make sure the URL begins with https:// — this confirms you are on the secure, official government website.
In the username field, type your unique SSO ID exactly as created during registration — including letters, numbers, or underscores. The SSO ID is case-insensitive but must be entered without spaces.
RJ SSO to 9223166166 from your registered mobile to get it instantly via SMS.Type your account password in the password field. The portal hides this as you type for security.
Enter the 6-digit security number shown in the captcha image box. This step confirms you are a real person.
Once all fields are filled correctly, click "Login". You will be taken to your personalised SSO dashboard where all your linked services and applications are available.
Before logging in, ensure your device and browser meet these basic requirements for the best experience on the SSO portal:
| Requirement | Details | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| SSO ID | Your unique Digital Identity (username) created during registration | Register at sso.rajasthan.gov.in if you don't have one |
| Password | Your secret access key — keep it private and do not share with anyone | At least 8 characters with mixed letters, numbers, and symbols |
| Internet Connection | A stable connection on any device — smartphone, laptop, or PC | Broadband or 4G recommended for smooth access |
| Browser | Must support modern web standards (HTML5, JavaScript enabled) | Google Chrome 100+, Firefox 95+, or Safari 15+ |
| Device | Any device capable of running a modern browser | Desktop/laptop for document uploads; mobile for quick checks |
| Registered Mobile | Required for OTP-based actions and account recovery | Keep your number active and linked to the account |
You do not need a computer to access the SSO portal. The official Raj SSO app for Android lets you log in and access services directly from your smartphone.
Available on the Google Play Store. Free to download. Supports all features of the web portal including profile management, service access, and OTP login.
▶ Download from Google Play StoreEven on a well-maintained portal, technical hiccups happen. Here are the most common issues users report and exactly how to resolve them:
If you enter the wrong password three or more times, the portal locks your account for 30 minutes. Wait for the lock period to expire, then try again. If this keeps happening, use the password reset guide to set a new password.
Click "I forgot my Digital Identity (SSOID)" on the login page, or send RJ SSO to 9223166166 from your registered mobile number. Full details in our SSO ID recovery guide.
Press F5 to refresh, or click the refresh icon next to the captcha. If it still fails, clear your browser cache (Ctrl + Shift + Delete on Chrome) or switch to a different browser.
Confirm the mobile number shown on the portal is your current registered number. Check for DND restrictions on your SIM. Click "Resend OTP" if you don't receive it within 2 minutes. If the number is outdated, visit an E-Mitra centre to update it.
This usually happens during peak hours (9–11 AM and 5–7 PM). Try refreshing after a few minutes. Ensure JavaScript is enabled in your browser. Switching from mobile data to Wi-Fi can also help.
Click the pencil (Edit Profile) icon at the top right of the dashboard. Update your mobile number, email, and identity document details. Always verify via OTP after making changes.
Your SSO ID gives access to sensitive government services including pension records, scholarship funds, and identity documents. Keeping it secure is essential.
