The Rajasthan Single Sign-On (SSO) Portal provides multiple recovery options. Losing access to your SSO credentials can disrupt scholarships, recruitment, E-Mitra, and SIPF records all at once. The portal has you covered for both situations:
There are two ways to retrieve your SSO ID — through the official portal, or via a quick SMS (no internet required).
Open your browser and go to sso.rajasthan.gov.in. Look for the link "I Forgot my Digital Identity (SSOID) — Click Here" below the login form.
Choose the category that matches how you originally registered:
Provide the details requested for your chosen category (e.g., Aadhaar number, Jan Aadhaar card number, or social login). The system will verify your identity.
Once verified, your SSO ID will be sent to your registered mobile number or email address. Note it down in a safe place.
This is the fastest way to retrieve your SSO ID, especially if you are away from a computer or have no internet access.
If you know your SSO ID but have forgotten your password, use one of the two methods below to reset it.
Visit sso.rajasthan.gov.in and click "I Forgot my Password" below the login form.
Provide your SSO ID and the email address registered with your account to proceed.
Select one of the following to verify your identity and receive a password reset link:
Open the link from your SMS or email. Create a new, strong password. The link typically expires within 30 minutes — act quickly.
Return to sso.rajasthan.gov.in and log in with your SSO ID and the new password you just created.
You can also trigger password recovery via SMS without needing to visit the website.
This is one of the most common situations citizens face — your old SIM card has been deactivated, or you no longer have access to the email used during registration. In this case, online recovery is not possible and you will need to visit an official centre in person.
Locate the nearest E-Mitra kiosk or official SSO Help Centre in your district. The operator is authorised to update your registered mobile number or email on your SSO profile.
You will be required to present a valid government-issued ID. Accepted documents include:
The E-Mitra operator will verify your identity against the SSO profile and update your mobile number or email. Once updated, you can use the standard online recovery methods described above.
Once you have recovered your SSO ID or reset your password, follow these best practices to avoid losing access again in the future:
Combine uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols. Avoid using your name, DOB, or "12345678".
Keep a physical note of your SSO ID in a secure location at home, not on your phone or browser.
Ensure the email linked to your SSO account is active and accessible for recovery.
Your registered mobile is your primary recovery tool — don't let it expire or be deactivated.
Do not share your SSO ID or password with anyone, including agents claiming to help you.
Update your SSO password every 6–12 months to reduce the risk of unauthorised access.
